CARMEL, Ind. – Junior Matthew Hillard (Berea, Ky.) was named the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
 
Hillard captured the win in frame for Hanover as they handed Alma their first loss, 11-5. The junior recorded 10 saves through 60 minutes of action.
 
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, April 2 when they open HCLC action with Transylvania.
