Wilmoth Sets School Record in the Shot Put at Bellarmine

LOUISVILLE, Ky.
– The Panthers hit the road for Louisville competing as part of the Bellarmine University Open Track & Field.
 
IN THE FIELD
Junior Tommy Wilmoth picked up where he left off a season ago, finishing second overall in the shot put with a toss of 16.72 meters. The mark lands him fourth among NCAA Division III student-athletes and is a new school record.
 
Wilmoth also took ninth in the weight throw with a distance of 15.02 meters. The mark landed him ninth in the event.
 
ON THE TRACK
Sophomore Blaine Ison turned in a strong showing in the 60-meter dash, finishing 10th overall with a personal best time of 7.07 seconds. The time ranks fourth all-time in school history.
 
Freshman Kingston Dugan claimed 21st in the event, crossing the finish line with a personal best time of 7.22 seconds.
 
In the one mile, sophomore Colin Kistler completed the race with a time of 4:36 to finish 14th overall.
