The Panthers Fall in 4-3 Decision at Maryville

MARYVILLE, Tenn. – The Hanover Panthers hit the road for non-conference action on Friday afternoon taking on Maryville. The Blue and Red surrendered the nail bitter 4-3.
 
DOUBLES PLAY
Sophomore Madelyn Santner and Savannah Heist competed at no. 2 doubles taking the match 6-3.
 
Freshman Maya Kett and sophomore Katherine Langdon helped push the Panthers to the 2-1 advantage through doubles play, winning no. 3 doubles 7-5.
 
SINGLES PLAY
Sophomore Annamarie Stogsdill claimed victory at no. 1 singles, taking down her opponent 6-2, 7-5.
 
The last Hanover win came at no. 6 singles as Langdon secured the victory, 7-5, 6-3.
 
EARLY IN THE WEEK
Hanover competed on Wednesday in an exhibition match, falling to Johnson University 5-2.
