CINCINNATI, Ohio – Hanover captured third place overall at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday.
IN THE FIELD
Junior
Tommy Wilmoth dominated the shot put, claiming All-HCAC honors with a first place finish. He won the event with a toss of 17.68 meters. He took third in the weight throw with a distance of 16.16 meters.
Senior
Anthony Lloyd took the top spot in the high jump with a leap of 1.95 meters. His teammates, junior
Sean Woods finished fifth with a jump of 1.83 meters.
Woods claimed a podium finish in the pole vault, claiming second overall with a height of 4.65 meters. Junior
Alex Howard took fifth with a vault of 3.85 meters.
ON THE TRACK
The 400-meter distance medley relay team of Miller,
Jayden Enderle,
Charlie Stuelpe, and Kistler won the event with a time of 10:55.50. With the win, they claimed All-HCAC honors.
Sophomore
Brandon Bensouda claimed All-HCAC accolades in the 60-meter dash, winning the race in a time of 6.89 seconds. Ison took fourth with a time of 6.99 seconds.
The 4x200-meter relay team of Bensouda, Enderle, Blain Ison, and
Layden Adair captured fourth in a time of 1:32.06.
Senior
Conner Watson secured fifth in the one mile in a time of 4:27.36.
