BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Junior Tommy Wilmoth claimed All-American honors on Saturday afternoon as he took fifth in the shot put as part of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.
 
The junior qualified as a member of the second flight before putting in work in the finals.
 
His best attempt came on his second throw, where he recorded a toss of 17.28 feet. He improved on his first throw of 15.39 feet.
 
Wilmoth closes out the Indoor season, winning All-HCAC honors and his first Outdoor All-American accolade.
