HANOVER, Ind. – The Panther track team hosted Senior Day on Saturday as they hosted the annual Hanover College Invite.
The men finished the meet in second with 121 points.
ON THE TRACK
Senior
Conner Watson claimed the top spot in the 1,500-meter run, winning the race in a time of 4:05.72. Junior
Jacob Miller followed him across the finish line in second place.
In the 100-meter dash, junior
Blaine Ison took second with a time of 11.08 seconds. His teammate, senior
Anthony Lloyd claimed third in a time of 11.11 seconds while freshman
Kingston Dugan captured fourth with a time of 11.14 seconds.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Dugan, Lloyd, Brandon Ellison, and senior
Layden Adair finished second in a time of 42.84 seconds.
Junior
Jayden Enderle captured second in the 400-meter run, crossing the finish line with a time of 51.07 seconds. He took third in the 200-meter dash,
Junior
Charlie Stuelpe finished fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:04.29.
IN THE FIELD
Junior
Sean Woods claimed the top spot in the pole vault, winning the event with a height of 4.35 meters. Woods also took third in the high jump.
Ellison had success in the long jump, finishing third with a distance of 6.26 meters.
Junior
Tommy Wilmoth won the shot put with a throw of 17.22 meters. He also took second in the discus throw.
Lloyd rounded out his afternoon finishing second in the high jump with a leap of 1.85 meters.
