ANDERSON, Ind. – The Panthers defeated Anderson in HCAC action on Saturday evening, 5-2.
 
DOUBLES PLAY
The no. 1 doubles team of senior Hailey Vandeventer and sophomore Annamarie Stogsdill dominated their match to a 6-0 win.
 
The duo of sophomore Madelyn Santner and freshman Savannah Heist captured no. 2 doubles by a score of 6-3.
 
Rounding out doubles play was the team of freshman Maya Kett and freshman Mia Silvey, winning no. 3 doubles 6-3.
 
SINGLES PLAY
Stogsdill won no. 1 singles in a tight match, 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (7-3).
 
At no. 2 singles, Santner won 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 while Kett won no. 5 singles 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
 
Sophomore Maddy Nelson closed out the match winning no. 6 doubles 4-6, 6-1, 6-3.
