WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Hanover Track and Field team competed at Wilmington over the weekend, posting a strong showing.
ON THE TRACK
Sophomore
Colin Kistler secured the top spot in the 10,000-meter run, winning the event with a personal best time of 34:01.00.
Senior
Conner Watson took the top spot in the 3,000-meter steeple chase in a time of 9:45.76.
In the 100-meter dash, freshman Kinston Dugan took third in a time of 11.18 seconds while his teammate, junior Blane Ison landed fourth in a time of 11.21 seconds.
Dugan also had success in the 200-meter run, crossing the finish line with a personal best time of 23.32 seconds.
Conner Watson demonstrated success in the 1,500-meter run, crossing the finish line fourth with a time of 4:08.39.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Duggan, Lloyd, Ison, and
Layden Adair set the school record with a time of 42.01 seconds.
IN THE FIELD
Brandon Ellison won the long jump with a leap of 6.85 meters.
In the pole vault, junior
Alex Howard captured second with a vault of 3.65 meters.
Senior
Anthony Lloyd claimed fourth in the high jump with a height of 1.77 meters.
