HANOVER, Ind. – The Panthers gear up for a full weekend slate welcoming Rose-Hulman on Saturday, March 13 before heading to Anderson on Sunday, March 14.
Visiting fans and general public fans are not permitted to attend HCAC contest this season.
HANOVER GAME NOTES:
- Hanover enters the weekend at 3-1 overall after sweeping Defiance and splitting with Manchester last weekend.
- Freshman
Alex Christie (Greenwood, Ind.) paced the Panthers going 6-for-15 at the plate with six runs and a team-high 15 RBI. He finished the week with a .400 batting percentage and two home runs.
- Sophomore
Jacob Dupps (Louisville, Ky.) went 5-for-12 at the dish with seven runs and six RBI. He tallied five runs and two home runs.
- On the mound, senior
Eli Copner (Zionsville, Ind.) registered an impressive debut pitching a complete game in the team's 16-5 victory over Defiance. He charted 12 strikeouts and allowed only five hits.
ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
- The Fightin' Engineers enter the contest at 1-1 overall after splitting a season opening double header with Anderson.
- Harris Camp and Shaine Mitchell paced the Rose-Hulman offense registering a .500 batting average.
- Jacob Petrisko led the team on the mound picking up a three inning save with five strikeouts.
ANDERSON GAME NOTES:
- The Ravens enter the weekend at 1-1 overall after splitting a twinbill with Rose-Hulman.
- Leading Anderson was Tyler Burton with three hits and two home runs.
- Cole Whitlock picked up the lone victory for the Ravens on the mound as he tallied one inning of work with three strikeouts.
