CARMEL, Ind. – The Hanover women's basketball team secured the no. 2 seed and a first round bye as part of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament to be help Tuesday, Feb. 21, Friday, Feb. 24 and Saturday, Feb. 25.
The Panthers will open play on Friday, Feb. 24 in Lexington, Ky. after earning the first round bye, with the opponent still to be determined.
Transylvania claimed the top spot and the right to host the 2022-23 HCAC Tournament.
As a unit, the Hanover women's basketball team ranks third in scoring (64.8 ppg), third in rebounds per game (41.8), fourth in scoring margin (+4.1), and fourth in points allowed per game (60.7).
Hanover will conclude the 2022-23 regular season on Friday, Feb. 17 with a trip to Mount St. Joseph. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 PM.
