Hanover, IN - The Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference announced the results for the 2025 All-HCLC voting late this morning. Hanover College landed seven total athletes on the all-conference listings, four on first-team and three on second-team.
Senior defenseman
Scott Dues (Louisville, KY) earned first-team All-HCLC as well as HCLC Defensive Player of the Year for the 2025 season. Dues tallied seventeen ground-balls and ten caused-turnovers (2.5/game, 4th in HCLC) during HCLC play this season. Dues started and played in all thirteen regular season games for the Panthers this season, picking up thirty-seven total ground-balls along with twenty-seven total caused-turnovers in route to helping lead the Panthers to a 10-3 overall record and 3-1 in the HCLC.

Senior goalkeeper
Lance Guttormson (West Bend, WI) also earned first-team All-HCLC honors after leading the starting HCLC goalies in two of the major statistical category, boasting the lowest goals against average among stating goalies (11.3) and save percentage (59.3%), as well as ranking fourth in saves per game (12) in the HCLC. Lance also ranks fourth in all of Division III in save percentage, saving 64.2% of shots this season. Lance started and played in all four HCLC match-ups for the Panthers this year, and started eleven games total only allowing 8.22 goals against on average.

Senior midfielder
Owen Parker (O'Fallon, MO) was the third of four Panthers to make first-team All-HCLC. Parker ranked second in the HCLC in assists per game (2) and sixth in points per game (3.75). Parker started and played in all thirteen games this year for HC totaling a team-best fifty-nine points on thirty-two goals and twenty-seven assists. Parker has also reached one hundred and eighty career points, nearing the all-time record for Hanover College Men's Lacrosse.

Freshman defenseman
Leonard Hughes (Evansville, IN) was the final Panther to earn first-team All-HCLC honors. Hughes certainly put the league on notice in his freshman campaign, starting in twelve of thirteen games including all four conference games. Hughes totaled sixty-six ground-balls and twenty-five caused-turnovers, with nineteen ground-balls and seven caused-turnovers in league play.
The Panthers also saw three athletes named to second team All-HCLC - senior attackman
Alex Kleinhelter, and junior attackmen
Colin O'Brien and
Ethan Abdoo.
Senior attackman
Alex Kleinhelter (Indianapolis, IN) started and played in twelve total games in 2025 including all four conference match-ups. Kleinhelter has twenty-seven goals and twenty assists through is twelve starts and twenty-two ground-balls. Kleinhelter was tied for third in the HCLC in both goals per game (3.25) and assists per game (1.75), and ranked second in the league in total points per game (5).

Junior attackman
Colin O'Brien was also named second-team All-HCLC for the second consecutive season. O'Brien finished with a team high forty-seven goals, along with ten assists for fifty-seven total points through thirteen starts. O'Brien was the conference leader in goals per game (3.75) and third in total points per game (4.75), and he also finished the regular season ranked nineteenth in goals per game (3.62) and fourteenth in shooting percentage (50%) in all of Division III.
Junior attackman
Ethan Abdoo earned his first all-conference honors by being the final Panther named to second-team All-HCLC for the 2025 season. Abdoo finished ninth in the HCLC in total points per game (3.25). Abdoo started in nine and played in eleven games for the Panthers this year, tallying twenty-two goals and eleven assists along with twenty-nine ground-balls.
