CARMEL, Ind. – Freshman Malachi McNair (Evansville, Ind.) earned his first career Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honor announced Monday afternoon.
 
McNair led the Panthers on day one of the Smokey Ballenger Classic recording the game's only double-double. He finished the contest with 12 points and 10 rebounds playing just 25 minutes off the bench. Malachi also added one assist and a block.
 
Hanover returns to action on Monday, Dec. 30 when they take on Classic host Otterbein. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
